In an article that I just read in the magazine, Diabetes Forecast, it stated that people without diabetes have about 5% for
their blood hemoglobin in the A1C form. An A1C level of 7 reflects an average blood sugar of about 150 mg/dl. Levels
of 8 or higher are a definite indication of poor control, and require remedial action.
